Panel #3 - That's Robert Rathbun Wilson Hall (and reflecting pond - because what's a particle accelerator facility without a reflecting pond?) on the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory grounds.

The laboratory was founded in 1967 as the National Accelerator Laboratory; it was renamed in honor of Enrico Fermi in 1974. Enrico Fermi (September 29, 1901 – November 28, 1954) was an Italian physicist most noted for his work on the development of the first nuclear reactor, and for his contributions to the development of quantum theory, nuclear and particle physics, and statistical mechanics.

Panel #4 - That's part of the Tevatron particle accelerator. Pretty darn cool, eh?
