When I scripted this episode I originally had it as a standard 9-panel page. However, after noting that Dundorious was going to have 7 panels of monologue, I decided to switch tot his 3-panel page. I definitely think it came out better this way.
Panel #1 - Here you get a better look at the final Stikfas bug custom that Larry Greyczik donated to PotB. This time it's a big praying mantis type bug. Very nicely done, Larry. Thanks!
Praying mantids, by the way, are named for their typical "prayer-like" stance. Not for their predatory behavior. There are about 2300 species of the insect order Mantodea worldwide. One of the unique tidbits about mantids is they are one of the few insects that can turn their heads. They are not poisonous, and are not dangerous to humans (unless they grow to horse size as this one has).
Episode 92 Contest of the Bold question #1: What are two movies that David Swimmer, the actor who portrays Dundorious Bold, has starred in? Earn 10 Bold Points by being the first person to answer this question correctly on the Action Figure Comics forum.
Wolfchild59 has correctly answered the question. As he states in Webcomic Entertainment! #1 (which you can see on the Bonus page), David Swimmer has starred in Stiking up the Pieces and Kissing a Stik.
Episode 92 Contest of the Bold question #2: What was the name of the mantis in Space Ghost? (10 Bold Points)
mjck7 correctly answered the question. The mantis on Space Ghost was named Zorak, and a sinister mantis he was.
