Like episode #45, this episode uses a single camera position for each of the (8) panels. You'd think I'd position the camera and set up each shot and then go work on the digital images for all the pics. Nope. It's easier to take a single panel's pic, then go work on it in Photoshop. Then, if I notice some errors I can go back to the set and correct them. That way, I don't have to reset up each panel if some little annoying thing is wrong.
What it does mean, is that sometimes it's hard to get the camera in the same position that it was before. To help with this, I place colored toothpicks on the set to use as camera frame positioners. See the bonus pics for today.
I was originally planning on having only 4 panels in this episode, each the full height of the page. However, I couldn't get everyone into such a narrow panel, so I switched to 8 panels.
Panel #3 - Maldonado is kind of hard to see in this panel and the next one. Guess he's really good at hiding in shadows. But that doesn't help the photography!
Momo, Maldonado, Dundorious, and Kamik are attached to the wall using bright yellow Handi-Tac. Sometimes this stuff shows up in the shot and I have to digitally remove it.
Panel #7 - Momo, Maldonado, and the spork are suspended on Coats & Clark CA00011 100% Nylon Transparent .004 quilting thread. And, no, I don't digitize it out. It's so fine that it can't be seen in the photo.
