Panel #7 - The ship has (crash)landed on the moon. Which is actually the old garden in my backyard with the dirt color balanced to red. It took me far too long to decide to use my garden as the moon's surface. I was against it because it would mean I was a slave to external ligthing conditions. I tried to use foam sheets, red paint, textured paint, carved foam, red sand, and lava rocks to simulate the moon's surface in my garage. Unfortunately, I just couldn't get it to look good. So, at the 11th hour I switched to using my backyard. Still not perfect, but much better.

Here some shots of my aborted attempt to use foam for moon's surface.
